Competition for obtaining a scholarship of Bavaria Academic Center for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe (BAYHOST) for summer courses of studying German in the universities of Bavaria (Germany) is opened.

Participants category: students (starting from 2nd year of study), postgraduates, teachers and employees proficient in German language not less than B1 level (confirmation is compulsory).

Financial conditions: coverage of training, accommodation and food.

In order to participate in the competition, it is necessary to fill the online application form and to prepare a set of documents to be sent through the post to the BAYHOST address.

Latvia Government provides Ukrainian students, postgraduates and teachers with scholarships for studying and research conducting at the leading HEIs of Latvia.

Participants’ categories: students (from the 2nd year of study), postgraduates, postdoctoral students and teachers.

Duration of the programme: for students and postgraduates – up to 1 academic year, for postdoctoral students and teachers – up to 5 months.

Scholarship financial value: from 500 € per month (depends on the participant’s category).

Application deadline: April 1st 2020.

It is necessary to receive the invitation letter from Latvia HEI to participate in the competition and to prepare a respective set of documents.

Senior students and HEIs graduates are invited for education at American universities from one to two years for obtaining a master’s degree. Candidates should have at least a bachelor's diploma at the time of scholarship appointment.

Financial support: monthly scholarship is provided, costs for university studies, medical insurance, return ticket are covered.

The industry of specialization: humanities, social, exact sciences, technical and natural disciplines (applications for directions like accounting, audit, logistics, management, marketing, business, business management, clinical medicine will not be taken into consideration).

Requirements to candidates:

  • to have Ukrainian citizenship and to live in Ukraine;
  • to have a sufficient level of English for professional communication in English speaking academic environment;
  • to have at least a bachelor diploma at the time of scholarship appointment (in August 2021);
  • to come back to Ukraine for 2 years after completing the grant term according to requirements of the J-1 visa, which is issued to exchange program participants.

International forum Green Talents – International Forum for High Potentials in Sustainable Development invites you as a pioneering scientist to apply with your trailblazing approach! The programme involves: participation in the Science Forum in October 2020 (two-week trip); a scientific internship in Germany in 2021 (duration up to 3 months).

Participants’ categories: enrolment in a master’s or Ph.D. programme or a degree (master’s/Ph.D.) completed no more than three years before the end of the application process, no more than three years of professional work experience (this excludes professional work experiences gained within the scope of an academic degree), strong focus on sustainable development and an interdisciplinary approach in any field of sustainability research, proven excellent command of English.

The competition for participating in the 16th international summer school dedicated to different issues of economic direction, in particular, the financial services sphere, is announced.

Dates: August 16th-30th, 2020.

Venue: Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Romania).

To obtain a full scholarship for participation in the summer school it is mandatory to prepare the following set of documents: application form, CV, essay on “FinTech vs traditional financial services”, accompanying letter.

DSMIE-2020 is an international forum on the basic and applied research and its industrial implementation in engineering. The main focus of the conference is on a wide range of research tasks in the fields of mechanical engineering, material science, mechanics and chemical technologies, emphasizing current challenges and future trends on new approaches in design, modeling methods, automated systems, software development and information and computer technologies for the implementation of the "Industry 4.0" strategy in solving engineering problems. DSMIE-2020 brings together researchers from higher education institutions, research institutes, and institutions, leading industrial companies for promotion and popularization of the scientific achievements into production. The conference program includes plenary and technical sessions, a round table, an exhibition of developments of industrial partners, and much more.

Considering the COVID-19 pandemic and related quarantine measures introduced in the world, it was decided to conduct the conference online on the material and technical base of SumDU (online studio, the Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy-Efficient Technologies of SumDU). According to the preliminary estimates, more than 300 participants from more than 30 world countries are expected to join the conference during the two main days (June 10-11, 2020).

The Internship Programme of German Business for Ukraine offers students and young graduates from Ukraine the possibility of a three to five months internship at leading German companies. The interns gain an insight into the corporate culture in Germany and get acquainted with modern management and labor organization.

Categories of participants: students of higher semesters (completed at least 6 semesters of BA, MA, Ph.D. studies) and young graduates (not older than 30 years) with or without first job experience are eligible to apply in such scientific focuses as the environment protection and "green economy”, energy management and renewable energies, mining and geotechnical engineering, economics and audit, law studies, banking, finance, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and mechatronics, communication & media, political and social studies.

Financial support: a monthly scholarship, coverage of transportation, health insurance, and accommodation cost.

Young Ukrainian scientists studying Natural Sciences, Engineering or Medicine are invited to participate in the scholarship programme of the Matsumae International Foundation. Scholars will get an opportunity to conduct research at Japanese HEIs, scientific centers or companies.  

Internship duration: 3 to 6 months.

Candidate specifications: degree of Candidate of Science or relevant academic qualification that will be acknowledged by the Matsumae International Foundation; up to 49 years of age; English or Japanese language proficiency; no experience of long-term stay in Japan; employment in Ukraine and obligation to return to home country after finishing the programme; no health issues.

Financial conditions: coverage of transport costs and accommodation expense in the amount of ¥ 120 000; scholarship in amount of ¥ 220 000 per month to cover the following expenses: tuition/internship costs, materials expenses, accommodation, food, transportation etc; travel and medical insurance, air travel.
