On the Erasmus Days, there was a SumDU meeting of 11 research supervisors. Their projects won the 2022 Erasmus+ Jean Monnet contest. The applications could be submitted during the military situation as well.

The project teams comprised representatives of all SumDU faculties and institutes.

The meeting was held by Serhii LIEONOV (first vice-chancellor), Kostiantyn KYRYCHENKO (rector assistant for foreign activities, head of the International Affairs Department), Olena HOROBCHENKO (deputy head of the International Affairs Department) and Denys KURBATOV (chief of the Research Department).

The project topics cover the most relevant EU practices. They include biomedicine recovery technologies, green campus development, financial cyberprotection, European anti-threat mechanisms, bioenergy waste processing, migration and education sustainable development via language brands.

Among discussed problems, there were administrative and financial issues, visualization rules, dissemination and stability of obtained results.

Within 92 Jean Monnet Ukrainian projects (recommended for funding in 2022), there were 11 SumDU projects. 10 of them belong to the Module level. 1 project concerns the Department level. It proves a deep introduction of EU values and standards into education and research of Sumy State University.
