The Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies (TeSET) negotiated with representatives of the Slovak Ministry for Education, Science, Research and Sports.

The meeting took place in the rector office of the Technical University of Košice. It was led by Radovan HUDAK (vice rector for international affairs). Nataliia VASHKOVA (international office head) took part here as well.

SumDU was represented by Vitalii IVANOV (professor, head of the Department of Manufacturing Engineering, Machines and Tools) and Ivan PAVLENKO (professor, vice dean for research of the TeSET Faculty).

Michal Fedák (state secretary of the Slovak Ministry for Education, Science, Research and Sports) reported on further Ukrainian support. In particular, joint international research projects and academic mobility programs will be promoted.

During the event, results of the Ukrainian-Slovak project “Production Technology Improvement via Machine Design Automation” were discussed. Also, prospects of new cooperation ways between SumDU and Slovak institutions were considered.

According to Vitalii IVANOV, over 30 TeSET members have completed their academic mobility at the Technical University of Košice for the last 6 years.

Ivan PAVLENKO joined the research discussion and thanked partners for comprehensive assistance in project fulfillment.
