Andrii Loboda (professor, director of the SumDU Medical Institute) talked to the Lancet. As its author, Ed Hold discussed with him a measles spread wave in Ukraine during the military situation.

The SumDU professor regards soldiers as another risk group. “Our defenders suffer from cold weather, rain, respiratory infections and stress. That affects their immunity. Front military crowds and lack of disease control promote the measles spread quickly”, – said the expert.

Andrii Loboda’s comments were published in the article “Experts Warn over Potential for Measles in Ukraine”. You may watch it via the link.
