Another SumDU bronze at the biathlon world championship

Bohdan BORKOVSKYI (a Medical Institute student) became the bronze winner at the World Junior Biathlon Championship. As a Ukrainian team member, he participated in the youth relay race.

The event took place in Shchuchynsk, Kazakhstan (4-12 March 2023).

Bohdan was doing the third stage after a 12-second outrun from the Italian rival. However, he got a lying penalty of 2 laps. Shooting was much better: he succeeded with two extra cartridges as the third on the last lap. Bohdan passed on the baton as the fourth, with a 14.2-second lag from the leader.

Another championship participant was Vladyslav CHYKHAR (a first-year Medical Institute student).
