A SumDU student was awarded the European Judo Cup

Oleksii BOLDYRIEV (the Medical Institute) got the Junior European Judo Cup. Now, it is his second victory in the same branch.

The competition took place in Coimbra (Portugal, 25-26 March 2023).

Oleksii defeated three Spanish rivals (under 90 kg). In the final, he overcame an Italian athlete.

Totally, there were 360 participants from 22 countries. Ukraine was represented by two persons only. With one gold and one bronze, Ukrainians took the 9th place in the unofficial team scoring.
