Webometrics: SumDU on the second place among the best universities in Ukraine

According to the latest Webometrics edition, Sumy State University has been ranked second among Ukrainian higher education institutions.

The Webometrics ranking is updated every six months. It assesses the performance of over 32,000 universities around the world. In the latest ranking version, almost 300 higher education institutions of Ukraine were ranked (link).

Sumy State University was rated as the best institution by the Openness indicator. It is based on the sum of Google Scholar citations of university researchers. Compared to the previous version, SumDU has improved its position in the Excellence indicator. That is determined by the number of publications among the top 10% of the most cited SCImago papers. The Impact indicator was also upgraded. The latter concerns the number of links to university websites.
