Sumy State University hosted a monograph presentation. It was prepared by researchers from the Department of Journalism and Philology. The work title is “Ukrainian Information Security: Philological Component”.

The study has three sections dealing with media, literary and language thinking.

The monograph was published under general editorship of professor Volodymyr SADIVNYCHYI. The author’s texts were prepared by Iryna ZHYLENKO, Alla YAROVA, Olena BONDARENKO, Olena ISHCHENKO and Stefan BRENNER.

The monograph presentation was held as audience communication, which allowed to attract many participants (including academic members from abroad).

The book is based on cases of individuals who used social media to spread anti-Ukrainian narratives during the Russian-Ukrainian war.

During the presentation, the authors expressed their gratitude to everyone who made the monograph possible. The authors also consulted with military forces on terminology, wartime concepts and their use in military speech.

The publication is intended for philologists, philosophers, journalists, information experts, students of humanities and social sciences. Also, anyone interested in philological components of information security can read the book. The monograph is freely available in the SumDU electronic library.
