Sumy State University is the first among Ukrainian HEIs according to the Webometrics Ranking

Spanish National Research Council published the first edition of the international Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics). Now Sumy State University is the first among higher education institutions of Ukraine.

Webometrics Ranking has been analyzing about 25 000 world HEIs that have their own web resources for more than 15 years. The main idea of the ranking is evaluating of scientific, academic and social missions of the universities via indicators of the university’s presentation in web space.

It is worth reminding, that Sumy State University is the first Ukrainian HEI that opened its academic courses for free access (“Examinarium” project), has one of the biggest repositories, is an author of All-Ukrainian Webometric Ranking of pre-university education institutions and other online projects.
