SumDU has again become the target of an enemy air strike.

The attack was directed against civilian infrastructure – an educational institution, one of the leading centers of science and culture in the north-east of Ukraine. The enemy deliberately and cynically attacks places where knowledge is born, where research is conducted to preserve human lives and develop society, where Ukrainian culture and identity are formed.

The most important thing is that everyone survived, because human life is the highest value. We will rebuild walls, restore classrooms and laboratories. You can destroy buildings, but not break our spirit, our culture, our unity.

We sincerely thank the services that professionally eliminated the attack consequences. We thank our international and Ukrainian partners for their support, and our university community for their resilience and solidarity.

Together, we are strong, and this strength helps us to survive.
