Meeting of the SumDU rector with a bronze prize-winner of the European junior championship

On 23 August 2023, Vasyl KRAPUSHA (the SumDU rector) met Nitita MASLIUK and Oleksandr MASLIUK. The former is a Law Institute student and a bronze-winner of the European junior championship. The latter is his coach.

The rector personally congratulated Nikita on his Jerusalem success. He made a 7 m 97 cm long jump among 20-year-old athletes. It was his new record, which was awarded with a bronze medal. Only 3 cm remained till the Sport Master title of the international class. Nevertheless, such a goal is the best motivation for future achievements.

Besides, active training and tournaments do not prevent the guy from studying. Nikita regards the law preparation as a serious task. Here, he can find new career prospects. As a budget student, he was the fourth among entrants. His contest rank was 197 points.

Nikita shared his championship impressions. The Ukrainian national team was warmly greeted by foreigners. Their words “Glory to Ukraine!” were a great support for everybody.

Now, Nikita is training properly to reach another goal – victory in the world championship next year.
