On September 25th, a unique training and production center of dual education, equipped with the most advanced high-tech equipment, was presented at the Machine Building College of Sumy State University.

The celebrations on its opening were attended by the heads of the regional and the city authorities, representatives of the deputy corps of various levels, as well as business structures, in cooperation with which the center was established.

The investments of the state, regional, city budgets, and business funds were directed to the implementation of the pilot educational and professional project, created on the terms of public and private partnerships in cooperation with the "Technologia" group of enterprises.

"This is the most striking example of dual education, which combines business, state and science, - said Roman Hryshchenko, the Head of the Sumy Regional State Administration. - The regional authorities will continue to support such projects because it will allow us to train specialists in demand on the labor markets."

In the system of our institution there are about 30 centers, mostly with foreign participation, working on the principles of dual education, where students equally with theoretical knowledge acquire practical skills in the major"- said the rector of SumDU Anatoliy Vasylyev.

The technology of dual education will be implemented on the center’s basis in the majors "Publishing and Typography" and "Industrial Engineering"; in study programs "Technology of materials processing on the machines and automatic lines" and "Chemical and petroleum engineering".
