On October 16th, the International Affairs Department organized an online event "SumDU in the Erasmus+ community" for the university students and researchers. The purpose of the flashmob is to present the scholarship and grant opportunities of the programme, as well as the success stories of its implementation at SumDU.

At the event opening, the Deputy Head of the International Affairs Department Olena Gorobchenko noted that Sumy State University is an active participant of the programme since 2015, and today is one of the leaders among higher education institutions in Ukraine in the number of projects in all key areas: KA1 "Academic Mobility ", KA2 "Cooperation Projects" and Jean Monnet.

The speakers of the event, including foreign experts, spoke about the conditions and features of participation in the programme. In turn, еру students of the faculties of Electronics and Information Technologies, of Foreign Philology and Social Communications, Oleg Balatskyi Academic and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management and Academic and Research Institute of Business Technologies "UAB" shared their success stories of participation in Erasmus+ academic mobility programmes and provided recommendations to future participants. At the end of the event, participants had the opportunity to take part in a quiz.

For reference: Erasmus+ is a programme of the European Union for the period of 2014-2020, which supports cooperation projects, partnerships, activities, and mobility in the field of education, training, youth and sports. The budget of the Programme for 2014-2020 was 14.7 billion Euros. A new phase of the EU's Erasmus+ Programme will start in 2021.
