Dear students, teachers, and staff of Sumy State University!
Please accept my sincerest congratulations on the New Year and Christmas!
This year's unexpected challenges did not hinder the implementation of our plans and tasks, did not hinder the effective work of all areas of activity, the achievement of successful results.
Our students demonstrate significant achievements in educational and scientific activities, sports, cultural and artistic events.
Even in the difficult conditions of the pandemic, the volume of orders for scientific and technical products increased by almost 70%.
SumDU scientists are increasing their publishing activity. This year, about 400 publications of our scientists have been published in the editions indexed by the Scopus database. The university is among the leaders among domestic HEIs in this indicator.
SumDU has rapidly improved its position in international industry rankings and this year for the first time presented in the ranking of Times Higher Education in three areas simultaneously: "Business and Economics" (ranking group 401-500), "Engineering" (501-600), "Physical Sciences" (1001+).
The achievements of Sumy State University are a joint victory of a well-coordinated and strong team. I sincerely thank all the staff, students, and postgraduates for their creative and proactive work, dedication to their home university, unceasing desire for development, which is the philosophy of our university.
We hope that the new year will pass the torch of multiplying good traditions and new achievements.
