The “Osvita.ua” portal published the annual ranking of Ukrainian higher education institutions according to the Scopus database. This year Sumy State University took the 8th position in the ranking.

The Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv has the highest h-index among higher education institutions.

The ranking results are based on the citation rates of scientific articles published by educational institutions or their specialists.

The Scopus database constantly indexes more than 20,000 scientific publications in technical, medical, and human sciences. The database also includes publications of scientific journals, conference proceedings, and books.

In the ranking table, Ukrainian universities are ranked according to the h-index - a quantitative indicator based on the number of scientific publications and citations.
