SumDU confirmed its position in the top three domestic universities according to the Webometrics ranking

As per the updated results of the Webometrics ranking, Sumy State University has retained its position in the top three Ukrainian universities together with Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University and Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

SumDU has the highest score on the indicator "Openness" ("Transparency"), which is based on the sum of citations of the best researchers of the university according to Google Scholar. Compared to the previous version of the ranking, SumDU has significantly improved its position on the indicator "Excellence", which is determined by the number of publications among the top 10% of the most cited in each of the branches of knowledge regarding the Scimago database.

In total, the presence in the webspace was estimated for more than 31,000 universities in the world, including 313 higher education institutions of Ukraine (https://webometrics.info/en/Europe/Ukraine%20).
