The British rating agency Times Higher Education presented the results of the annual ranking of universities Impact Rankings during the summit on innovation and impact, which is being held in Stockholm (Sweden).

The aim of the ranking is to estimate the achievements of the best universities in the world in pursuing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Despite the growing number of universities included in this year's ranking, SumDU has significantly improved its position, moving from the top 601-800 to the top 401-600 best higher education institutes in the world. The number of Ukrainian universities in this ranking has also increased from 15 in 2021 to 26 this year, the first place among which SumDU shared with Lviv Polytechnic National University.

High positions of SumDU in THE Impact Rankings were achieved due to many years of work on the development of the system of personnel incentives, development, and implementation of the regulatory framework of the university level, fruitful international academic cooperation.
