On 10-13 October 2022, a workshop on sustainable development in higher education was held in Tallinn (Estonia) as a part of the Baltic University Program. There, two members of Sumy State University participated.

19 representatives from Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Finland, Slovakia and Estonia took part in the event, which was hosted in Tallinn University. Within the Ukrainian team, there were lecturers of Sumy State University and Lviv Polytechnic National University.

The first workshop program consisted of lectures, work in international cross-disciplinary groups, sustainable development exercises and change project presentations.

Own projects were demonstrated by Iryna USHCHAPOVSKA (senior lecturer, Department of Germanic Philology) and Anna SLAVKO (assistant lecturer, Department of International, European and Contrastive Law).

The workshop participation is realized as a stage of advanced training from September 2022 to March 2023. Arranged within the Baltic University Program, the course comprises deep study of sustainable development goals and creation of own change projects to introduce into universities.

Something else we need to comment on is a very warm attitude towards the Ukrainian team and the great support of our country by Estonia. Everywhere we can see the Ukrainian flag next to the Estonian one.
