On 27 October 2022, an online international conference “The Resilience Day. What Can We Experience in Crises?” took place at Sumy State University.

In case of COVID-19 or Ukrainian war, there are more challenges for higher education institutions, which makes managers find new ways of coordinating organizations. Here, the topic of resilience is getting relevant. What does resilience mean in higher education? What significance does it have for education management? What experience can we acquire from crises? Such issues were discussed during the Resilience Day within the FH Münster THEA Ukraine X project “Trainings for Higher Education Managers in Ukraine”.

This event was organized by SumDU and German partners: Münster University of Applied Science and Leibniz Hannover University.

The conference guests were visitors from Ukrainian and foreign institutions. They shared knowledge, discussed new working spheres. During the Bar Camp interactive sessions, the participants could consider the program topic.

The meeting provided prospects of further SumDU cooperation with German and Ukrainian partners. In particular, we are going to start new joint grant projects funded by Germany and the EU.

Notes: SumDU and Leibniz Hannover University realize another project for Ukrainian higher education managers – “Internationalization Administration”.
