As the head of the Regional Security Research Center at Sumy State University, Mykola NAZAROV participated in the New Era of Insecurity Conference (Helsinki, Finland, 26-28 October 2022). He is a senior lecturer at the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies.

Within 30 panel discussions, over 100 reports were presented. More than 200 researchers from the EU, the USA, Japan and Ukraine took part. This is one of the largest annual world conferences on Russian and Eastern Europe issues. Topics change each year. The best specialists are invited.

During the event, Mykola NAZAROV spoke on asymmetric military strategies and methods in the Russian-Ukrainian War. The key Ukrainian approaches to aggression resistance were explained. Poll results of the Regional Security Research Center and Social Research Center were represented. 

Mykola Nazarov’s participation contributes to promoting the Ukrainian intellectual image greatly. The Ukrainian delegation insisted on the further national and SumDU support. In particular, Ukrainian researchers and institutions may be assisted in keeping their academic and scientific activities.
