Nanomaterials for power storage: SumDU started open online lectures of Yurii Hohotsi

On 21 February 2023, SumDU launched lectures of Yurii Hohotsi (DSc in Engineering, professor, director of the A.J. Drexel Nanotechnology Institute in the USA). He is an Honorary SumDU Doctor.

In general, there will be 5 lectures within the course “Nanotechnologies and Nanomaterials”. Everybody may attend these events.

Lecture 1 described the concept of nanomaterials and principles of their use for power storage.

Besides, professor Hohotsi introduced himself and spoke about his research career. He represented the Drexel University where the professor had been working for over 20 years. His colleagues also joined the meeting.

Talking to Ukrainian guests, Yurii Hohotsi showed his cup with the SumDU logo (the gift presented to him during the previous visit). Cooperation with our university is extremely important for the professor.

“I am looking forward to the soonest war end. I would like to visit Ukraine and Sumy State University again very much”, – stated the researcher.
