SumDU received a letter from University of Liverpool. Its administration supports Ukraine on the anniversary day of the Russian full-scale invasion. Also, the further joint work is planned.

“Ukrainian presence in our city is getting more and more prominent by the day. Everyone’s behalf when I say that we are very proud to be your partner. We hope our tie of cooperation and cultural exchange continues”, – said Tim Jones (vice-chancellor, University of Liverpool).

SumDU was one of the first institutions to join the Twinning Initiative. It resulted in mutual cooperation with University of Liverpool, a leading world organization.

The concept of twin universities proved to be unique and efficient in solving wartime challenges. Within the Twin Initiative, cooperation is going on in 2023 as well.
