SumDU holds a photo exhibition for the 160th Red Cross anniversary

8 May is the Red Cross and Crescent Day. This year, it also commemorates the 160th anniversary of establishing the Red Cross Committee itself.

Therefore, the SumDU Congress Centre holds the photo exhibition “Let Us Save the World”. It reports on the full-scale war in Ukraine. The event lasts till 28 May.

As the acting Red Cross head in the Sumy Oblast, Ihor SHAPOVAL acquainted visitors with wartime aid programmes for local residents.

Vasyl KAPUSHA and Andrii LOBODA (SumDU rector and Medical Institute chief, respectively) were acknowledged for their wartime humanitarian assistance.

Notes: The Red Cross and Crescent Day commemorates the birthday of Jean-Henri Dunant (Swiss doctor, public figure and Red Cross founder).
