SumDU foreign graduates of 2023 were awarded with diplomas

Graduation of foreign SumDU students is a great event for the whole university family. It shows intercultural diversity and worldwide academic achievements.

This year, SumDU diplomas were awarded to 179 foreign citizens from 22 countries. Most graduates come from India. Besides, there are representatives from the UK, Germany, Turkey, Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya, Jordan, Marocco, Tunisia, etc. Usually, students were educated in Medicine, Dentistry, Management, Computer Sciences, Economics.

Vasyl KARPUSHA (SumDU rector) congratulated everybody on graduation. Diplomas were awarded by him to campus students. Other graduates joined online.

During the study, many foreign citizens regarded Ukraine as the second home. Graduates shared their positive SumDU impressions.

Michael Pascal Kudema (Medical Institute graduate):

“Frankly speaking, six years is not a joke. From the reality perspective, it was difficult: you had to work hard. For people who are going to study in Ukraine, SumDU is an ideal place. I will always remember my medical lectures. Especially, I liked anatomy. That was a great experience”.

Alcudah Basil (Medical Institute graduate):

“Today, I am glad to have completed my study. I am grateful to the university and my companions. I had mastered the Ukrainian language and studied in a Ukrainian academic group. For future graduates, the most important thing is intensive training”.
