A SumDU representative visits EU institutions

Yurii PETRUSHENKO (head of the SumDU Department of International Economic Relations, head of the EU Information Center in Sumy Oblast) had a working study trip to EU institutions.

The Ukrainian delegation visited the European Parliament and the European Commission. Besides, they got acquainted with the Directorate General for Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, the EU Council and the European External Action Service.

The participants learned priority work areas of EU institutions. Discussed relevant cooperation of Ukraine to became a full EU member. Shared with European colleagues their successful experience of protecting democratic values and implementing projects that bring Ukraine closer to the EU.

The visit purpose was to strengthen the capacity of the EU Information Centers in disseminating information about the European Union, its policy and solidarity with our country.

The visit was organized within the project of the EU Mission in Ukraine.
