28 Ukrainian institutions became participants in the international summer school “University Administrative Services”. It was organized by Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland. Dmytro TSYGANYUK (the director of the Department for Work with Personnel and Training of Scientific and Pedagogical Staff) represented Sumy State University.

The summer school project is financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchanges (NAWA – Narodowa Agencja Wymiany Akademickiej). It demonstrates experience of Adam Mickiewicz University in writing and implementation of grant projects.

The current event was dedicated to improving university management and finding new solutions in difficult and stressful conditions of Ukraine. Representatives of Ukrainian institutions and their Polish colleagues discussed urgent problems of recruiting, personnel development, formation and optimization of the organizational structure, diversification of financial income, cost savings, work with students, etc. The participants talked about management solutions, taking into account activities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the Ukrainian wartime.

Notes: Sumy State University has a long history of cooperation with Adam Mickiewicz University (grant programs, academic mobility projects, etc.). Since 2023, the Polish university has organized about 20 summer schools for Ukrainian institutions. In them, 17 employees of Sumy State University have already participated.
