On the University of Washington website, an article was published about Dipra JHA (a professor, expert in hospitality and tourism). He is a SumDU honorary doctor.

A separate article section concerns joint programs and the honorary title award by the SumDU Academic Council in November.

Together with the University of Washington and directly with Dipra JHA, SumDU is implementing a COIL project (Collaborative Online International Learning). Currently, this project at Sumy State University is coordinated by Tetiana MAIBORODA (an associate professor, the deputy head of the International Cooperation Department).

“Professor Dipra JHA is a reliable partner, true friend and ambassador of Sumy State University. Thanks to him, the university is constantly expanding the network of international partnerships and opportunities for students and teachers. His contribution to the methodology of implementing COIL programs is incredibly valuable and currently extremely relevant,” – noted Tetiana MAIBORODA.

“The title awarding to professor JHA is a sign of deep gratitude for the years of partnership, for his personal contribution to the development and implementation of the COIL program, which is very important and useful. Together, we prepared a cohort of students with developed communication skills and bright leadership qualities,” – said Vasyl KARPUSHA (the SumDU rector).

Sumy State University sincerely congratulates Dipra JHA on the international recognition of his merits! In particular, he is included among the most influential people in hospitality and tourism.
