On 16 April 2024, Sumy State University took part in an international online exhibition. It was organized by one of the most famous educational consulting companies – Begin Group (Germany).

The exhibition allows universities to represent their educational services to students from different countries. The target audience of this event was representatives of Sub-Saharan Africa: Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, Rwanda, South Africa, Ethiopia, etc.

The SumDU participation was supported by the by the Ukrainian State Center for International Education. Colleagues from universities in the United States, Spain, Hungary, Croatia, France and other countries represented their educational proposals. The exhibition gathered over 3000 participants.

Tetyana MAYBORODA(Deputy Head of the International Affairs Department) made an online presentation of study opportunities for foreign citizens at Sumy State University.

In her speech, she emphasized the advantages of SumDU study (remote admission and online learning, English-language programs for foreign students, a high level of education quality, international recognition of diplomas, etc.). Particular attention was paid to university cooperation with partners from African countries, training of foreign students, provision of modern knowledge and competence, academic mobility and double degrees, blended learning at partner universities in Africa.

The online discussion was extremely active.

Sumy State University is working towards education internationalization and expanding its educational offers for foreign students. So, participation in such exhibitions increases university visibility in the educational space of Sub-Saharan Africa. It ensures a direct dialogue with SumDU on admission and training, establishes new partnerships with other institutions.
