The conference was held at Sumy State University. Its participants discussed ZNO results and educational priorities for 2024-2025.

The main speech focus was organization of safe conditions for wartime education and shelter construction.

Volodymyr ARTIUKH (head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration) thanked educators for preparing students for the NMT test. It is important that all sessions of this year’s NMT were held in shelters. They were provided with all the necessary conditions. SumDU gave the largest number of rooms for the 2024 entrance exams. They were located in shelters. They had all necessary equipment: computers, uninterrupted power supply, Internet access. At Sumy State University, 1420 participants took the NMT test while 2326 participants took the EVI and EFVV tests.

For the quality work on test organization in 2024, the university staff was awarded the gratitude.

The educational process for senior students has already started at Sumy State University. Freshmen will begin their studies on 2 September 2024.

Even in difficult border conditions, the university organizes the educational process in a mixed format. It plans to provide students with an opportunity to hold classes in equipped shelters as much as possible. To ensure stable operation and reliable uninterrupted power supply even in the most difficult moments, the institution is equipped with modern backup power systems. A project to install a hybrid solar power plant on one of the campuses has been prepared. The required number of Starlink access points has been purchased.

Thus, the university cares about a safe and comfortable space for students to learn and develop. In addition to classrooms, the shelters are also equipped with a sports base to create an accessible and safe environment for students to train in wartime.
