On 22-27 December 2025, the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technologies hosted Academic Mobility Week, a large-scale joint project of the student and administrative dean offices.
The main goal was not only to inform students about international programs, but also to prepare future participants for studying abroad so that as many representatives of the faculty as possible could take advantage of international education benefits.
The week began with an official online opening, where Yurii VOLK (faculty dean) and Alla KRASULIA (head of the International Relations Office) kicked off the marathon of opportunities. The key event of the first day was a lecture by Taras LIUTYI (deputy dean for international affairs), who explained in detail the importance of academic mobility for modern professionals.
“Academic mobility is not only about studying abroad, but, above all, investment in own professional development and opportunity to integrate into the global scientific community. We want our students to feel confident in the international educational space”, – emphasized Taras LIUTYI.
The next day was devoted to practical skills. During an intensive workshop, Yuliia ZIUZKO and Mariia KUMEDA taught participants the intricacies of creating CVs and cover letters. Students learned about common mistakes, services for preparing documents, and use of artificial intelligence to prepare for interviews.
“Preparing a high-quality CV and cover letter is the first step to successful participation in exchange programs. The main thing is to learn how to correctly emphasize your achievements and clearly formulate your learning goals”, – said Yuliia ZIUZKO.
A special event was “Panel on Bags”, where a dialogue between experienced participants in international programs and newcomers took place in an informal setting. The meeting was moderated by Hlib SHEVCHENKO (ElIT student). Expert opinions were shared by Nataliia MARYNYCH, Oksana SHOVKOPLIAS, and Taras LIUTYI. Participants received information about current offers and the specifics of living and studying in other countries. Preparation for trips abroad continued at the Shota English Speaking Club meeting, where Inna LEVENOK and Oksana HLADCHENKO helped students practice English for travel and study.
The final chord was the intellectual team game “ElIT Quiz” from the faculty partners – the Gray! formation.
Teams of students, representatives of dean offices, and teachers gathered in a secure room. Mobility Week became a source of practical knowledge and motivation for the ElIT community, demonstrating accessibility of international opportunities for those who want to development.
