Within the framework of the twinning initiative with University of Liverpool, Sumy State University has received humanitarian assistance to support its administrative, educational, and research activities.

The University was provided with 100 units of computer equipment, as well as books from the Libraries, Museums, and Galleries of the University of Liverpool , which have enriched the Sumy State University Library  with modern and relevant publications. These resources will be used for teaching, research, and the professional development of students and academic staff.

Tetyana Mayboroda,Coordinator of the Twinning Partnership with the University of Liverpool, Deputy Head of the International Relations Office notes:

“Our cooperation with the University of Liverpool has long gone beyond purely academic and research collaboration. This partnership is built on trust, solidarity, and a willingness to stand alongside one another and support the University in practical ways — through the provision of equipment, book exchange initiatives, and the organisation of humanitarian aid delivery, with the support of Cormack Consultancy Group, the coordinator of the UK–Ukraine Twinning Initiative. It is precisely this kind of interaction that makes international partnerships truly meaningful and effective.”

Sumy State University sincerely thanks its partners in Liverpool for their openness to cooperation and consistent support, as well as Cormack Consultancy Group  for facilitating logistics and the delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
