Delegation from the Institute of Art, Design and Technology (Ireland) represented by David Quin, Prof. of the Department of Film and Media, Erasmus+ coordinator, David Doyle, coordinator of the Student Academic Affairs Department and Patrick Moffat, senior technical specialist of the Information Services Department visited Sumy State University on 23-27 June, 2019. The aim of the visit was to analyze the experience of Sumy colleagues in the development of SumDU e-cabinet system for further introduction of such a system at the Institute of Art, Design, and Technology. The visit was implemented within a joint Erasmus + ICM project. 

As the results, the experts from Ireland shared their experience and gave recommendations on the modern technologies for the organization of the studying process. 

The representatives of IADT had been working with SumDU specialists on the project topics throughout the week. A range of meetings with students, teaching and administrative staff of SumDU was held to discuss the peculiarities of e-cabinet system. The SWOT-analysis of e-cabinet system functions was carried out together with the project group members represented by Volodymyr Lyubchak, vice-rector for scientific and pedagogic work, Vladyslav Khomenko, head of the Information Systems Center, Yurii Zuban, director of the Organizational and Methodical Center of E-learning Technologies and Iryna Skliar, the rector’s assistant in organization of the educational process using the modern technologies. 

In addition, the IADT experts got acquainted with SumDU information services, e-learning technologies, innovative approaches to the quality assurance of educational programs. Also, creative ideas and works of Student Media Agency Studio16×9 were presented by the specialists of the brand management and media content production department, the center of media communications and advertising activities of SumDU. 

Based on the results of the visit, Irish experts highly assessed the developments of Sumy State University on modern electronic services, which support the educational process. The steps for further cooperation between the two universities, within the large-scale grant programs and projects as well, were determined.
