The Department of Management of SumDU conducted the first lesson within the new training module "International Business Strategies", which provides joint virtual learning for students of business schools from all around the world.

The speakers of the seminar on the features of running a business in Ukraine were the Head of the Management Department Hanna Shvindina and students Maryna Deineka and Faith Emanuel Umo Utong. The main discussion was about the opportunities of starting a business in the current conditions, the merits and flaws of the Ukrainian economy, the development of institutions, the credibility crisis in society, and decentralization processes.

The participants of the seminar were students of the second and fourth year of the major "Management" of SumDU, the students of Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman, as well as students of the course "International Business" of the University of Washington.

The project was initiated by an Associate Professor at Carson College of Business, Director of the Tourism Business Management School Dipra Jha.

Honorary guests of the class are the Professor of Marketing and International Business at the University of Washington Dr. Jeff Joireman, Professor Mariia Shygun, Associate Professor Nataliia Nikitan, and the Head of the Accounting and Taxation Department of Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman.
