Sumy State University held events within the Global Money Week, an international information campaign aimed at raising the financial awareness of young people.

During the week, from March 15th to 21st, teachers of the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance of SumDU conducted 20 different classes for students: online games on the Kahoot! Platform, online seminars on "State Price", the offline game "Cashflow", etc.

The events organized by Sumy State University were attended by more than 300 students of 7-11 grades from seven schools of Sumy: secondary schools № 4, № 6, № 12, № 27, secondary school №7 named after M. Savchenko, secondary school № 15 named after D. Turbin, regional boarding lyceum of sports profile "Barsa".

Global Money Week is organized globally by the International Network of Financial Education of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD/INFE). The official coordinator of the holiday in Ukraine is the National Bank of Ukraine. “Learn! Accumulate! Earn!” is the slogan of Global Money Week.

In Ukraine, Global Money Week this year is held in 2 stages: from 15th till 21st of March - for schoolchildren, and from 22nd till 28th of March - for students.
