SumDU presented its scientific and educational potential to the delegation of the Public Organization "Chinese Diaspora in Ukraine"

On March 23^rd, the representatives of the Chinese Diaspora in Ukraine visited Sumy District.

The delegation included: the Head of the Public Organization Li Xuegan, the Honorary Chairman - Li Xiang, the Deputy Chairmen - Li Yonghong, He Mia, Wang Zhizhe.

During the meeting with the Rector of Sumy State University Vasyl Karpusha, representatives of educational and scientific departments the participants discussed the prospects of cooperation with higher education institutions of the People's Republic of China on education and exchange of students, research institutions, joint research, and development projects, etc.

At SumDU Congress Center, the guests were presented the potential of the university in the medical field, information and computer technology, the experience of international cooperation. The Chinese delegation was presented with study programmes, which train specialists at the Medical Institute of SumDU, as well as the activities of research centers. The representatives of the Chinese diaspora got acquainted with virtual and augmented reality technologies created by the university scientists and even had the opportunity to see the unique capabilities of these developments by taking photos with virtual characters.

For reference. In recent years, Sumy State University has been actively developing cooperation with the People's Republic of China. The evidence of this is the Cooperation Agreement with Hua Yue Dong Fang Corporation, as well as SumDU's international contract with PRC for the development of specialized software.
