More than 140 participants in the Global Virtual Professional Development Program "Excellence in Teaching & Research" for postgraduates and teachers received certificates of completion.

This program was developed at the initiative of SumDU together with Washington State University. It is free of charge and is aimed at postgraduate students, future Doctors of Philosophy, young researchers, teachers, and university graduates who are interested in a teaching or research career. The program consisted of 9 intensive interactive sessions and independent preparation of students for the final report.

The teachers represented the TOP universities, such as Montpellier Business School (France), Varna University of Management (Bulgaria), Washington State University (USA), London School of Economics (Great Britain), Sumy State University (Ukraine), Bakhcesehir University (Turkey), University of Nebraska-Lincoln (USA), the University of Management of Varna (Bulgaria), University of South Florida Sarasota-Manati (USA), Purdue University (USA).

The participants from China, Ghana, India, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Poland, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Ukraine participated in the program. Among the participants were usually teachers, postgraduates, and students of Sumy State University.

"These meetings have been a breakthrough in research and teaching practices, making research and teaching less abstract and more achievable," - said Janice Angela Carol Lalu, a participant from the United Kingdom.

As one of the invited speakers of the program, Professor Erdogan Koch, noted: “It was an exciting experience - to meet researchers and future researchers from almost all over the world, to see the enthusiasm of more than 200 participants, to hear their interesting questions was extremely motivating. I would like to thank everyone who took part and, more importantly, the people who made this exciting event possible."
