On June 22, the final online meeting with the representatives of the Institute of Arts, Design and Technology in Dublin (Ireland) took place within the joint project of the EU Erasmus+ grant programme dedicated to the student services, including the personal e-cabinet system used at SumDU.

During the meeting, representatives of higher education institutions discussed the results of the three-year project, shared their experience of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and outlined the prospects for further cooperation.

David Smith, the President of the Institute of Arts, Design and Technology, noted the success of the project. He stressed the high level of implementation of information services, e-learning technologies, and innovative approaches to ensuring the quality of educational programmes at SumDU and expressed intentions for further cooperation and implementation of future projects with our university.

The Rector of SumDU Vasyl KARPUSHA noted that the success of cooperation in the framework of the projects implemented jointly with the Institute of Arts, Design and Technology in Dublin, such as the project "ALIGN: Achieving and checking the alignment between academic programmes and qualification frameworks" of the Tempus EU grant programme and "DESTIN: Journalism Education for Democracy in Ukraine: Developing Standards, Integrity and Professionalism” of the EU Erasmus+ grant programme will facilitate the implementation of international collaborative online learning between our universities and the new project "ACCELERATE: Accessible Immersive Learning for Art and Design" in the future.

Summing up the meeting, the Rector’s Assistant for International Affairs, the Head of the International Affairs Department Kostyantyn KYRYCHENKO noted that cooperation between Sumy State University and the Institute of Arts, Design and Technology is not just agreements and documents, it is an ecosystem of powerful joint projects of the European level.
