SumDU offers educational opportunities to young people from Belarus

Sumy State University, recognized as a scientific, educational and cultural center of the North-Eastern region of Ukraine and having established the fruitful mutual relations with the government, business and public, is ready to support entrants and students from Belarus, wishing to obtain higher education, taking into account the situation in their country and the pressure of the government on students.

In the 2021-2022 academic year, Sumy State University offers the following educational opportunities for the youth from Belarus:

• admission to bachelor’s and master’s programmes;
• possibility to continue the study in bachelor's and master's programmes.

In addition, we would like to inform on the opportunity to learn Ukrainian as a foreign language, taking the online course developed by the university specialists. It can be found on the university's online courses platform "Examinarium"  and will be free of chargefor Belarusian students and entrants.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine:

• to enter Ukraine for study purposes, the citizens of the Republic of Belarus do not need an invitation from a higher education institution or a visa;
• for enrollment in higher education institutions in the 2020-2021 academic year, it is necessary to submit the documents no later than November 1, 2021;
• documents on education issued in Belarus, on the basis of which the admission will take place, can be submitted without affixing an apostille for their further recognition in Ukraine.

For the citizens of Belarus who will be enrolled in Sumy State University, the tuition fee and cost for housing in the university dormitories will be the same as for citizens of Ukraine.
