SumDU received a delegation from Uzbekistan

On October 13th, the representatives of "WORLDUZ" LLC (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) led by Viktoriia Chumak, a Coordinator for HEIs of Ukraine, and Assistant Coordinator Sunnatillo RASULKULOV visited Sumy State University.

The main purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the features of foreign students studying at SumDU and to determine the prospects for further cooperation.

During the visit, the guests from Uzbekistan visited the Library & Information Center of SumDU, got acquainted with the online and video studios possibilities, had a look at the classrooms of IT companies operating on the basis of SumDU, met with the Heads of faculties and institutes where foreign students study. The delegation was also interested in the university's social infrastructure, in particular, the conditions in which students live, opportunities for active leisure and extracurricular activities, and visited residences, dining, and sports facilities.

The Director of the Department of International Education Mykola BOZHKO noted that SumDU has created conditions for comfortable learning and development of students, in particular foreigners, and, considering that the university has always had close relations with Uzbekistan, he expressed hope for a mutually beneficial partnership with "WORLDUZ" LLC.
