Within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement between SumDU and Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges in Nabua, Philippines, the implementation of an international virtual mobility program has been started, in which more than 60 Ukrainian and 100 Filipino students will take part.

Program coordinator from SumDU, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications for International Affairs, Senior Lecturer of the Department of German Philology Alla KRASULIA, the coordinator from the partner institution, Adjunct Professor, Head of the Center for International Relations of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges Fillmore J. MURILLO.

For students of SumDU specialties "Cybersecurity" and "Computer Science" participation in the program is provided within the discipline "English Language: Communication Strategies" (lecturer, Head of Foreign Languages Department, Associate Professor, Natalia Tatsenko), students of specialty "Philology" will join the program within the discipline "Fundamentals of Language Communication Theory" (lecturer, senior lecturer at the Department of German Philology Irina Ushchapovska). The program will last until the end of December.

The coordinator of the program Alla KRASULIA said that the joint online learning of students from different countries would not only contribute to the formation of professional (language and speech) skills, but also the development of intercultural competence.

“The formation of intercultural competence is a key factor in the implementation of the communication process between representatives of different cultures. It is rediness to accept the values ​​and behavior of others, to listen, to observe, to be flexible in communication, and to be able to resolve conflict situations", said Alla KRASULIA.
