The Wolfgang Pauli Institute (WPI) in Vienna, headed by Professor Dr. Norbert MAUSER, provided support to Ukrainian scientists in mathematics, physics, and related natural sciences who stay in Ukraine by paying them short-term scholarships (“WPI Scholarship for Ukrainian researchers").

Scholars were both scientists of higher education institutions of Ukraine and NAS, including the scientists of the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology of Sumy State University Yuliia KOSMINSKA, Tetiana ZHYLENKO, Yuliia KRAVCHENKO, and Ihor SHPETNY.

In total, the working group distributing the scholarships, received 26 applications, among them 4 applications were from graduate students and 22 - from teaching staff and staff of research institutions.

All applications received a positive decision. The total budget of the “Pauli Ukraine” project was 50,000 euros. The organizers of the initiative hope that scholarships will help Ukrainian scientists to continue their scientific work during this difficult time.

Many thanks to all WPI members, including its head, Professor Norbert MAUSER, for such helpful and timely support from Ukrainian scientists who continue working in their country.
