On May 18, the online meeting of representatives of Sumy State University, “Global Education Link Ltd” Company, and Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College (Tanzania) was held.
During the event, the participants discussed areas of cooperation, in particular, in educational activities.
The parties are preparing a project that provides a joint training course for students from Tanzania at SumDU and Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College (KCMCo). Currently, the cooperation plan is a pilot project and focused exclusively on students from Tanzania, in the future it is planned to expand the possibilities of the program and attract students from other countries.
Andriy LOBODA, Director of SumDU Academic and Research Medical Institute, informed the Tanzanian side about the University's international accreditation for the Master's program in Medicine, which opens up new prospects for cooperation.
"Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College became the first university in Tanzania that has met with us to discuss a joint project. It was gratifying that Professor Levina Msuya, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at KCMCo, was acquainted with Ukraine, as she had studied here. I guess the cooperation will be productive", the first vice-rector of SumDU Serhiy LEONOV said.
“Our organization will actively help every student having a desire to stay in Ukraine and continue his studies at SumDU. We are also ready to support any alternative options for cooperation with SumDU that will provide our students with quality education. Tanzania is a friend of Ukraine”, Abdulmalik S. MOLLELL said, the Executive Director of “Global Education Link Ltd”.
