Sumy State University is guiding alumni into professional life

At Sumy State University students are graduating. On July 1, a diploma awarding ceremony was held for bachelors in the specialty "Physical therapy, occupational therapy".

Parents, teachers, institution administration, representatives of partner institutions shared a solemn moment with the graduates.

With warm words of congratulations and wishes for success in the profession, Vasyl KARPUSHA, rector of Sumy State University, addressed the physical therapists. He emphasized that the competencies acquired during training would certainly become a pillar of career growth, which is guaranteed by the diploma of Sumy State University - one of the leading higher education institutions in Ukraine. And the specialty acquired by the participants of the holiday is very necessary today for the country and its defenders.

The rector also took part in the honorary mission of awarding diplomas. This year, they were awarded to 57 graduates of the educational and qualification level "Bachelor" in the specialty "Physical therapy, occupational therapy" of the educational and scientific medical institute. The total number of graduates of Sumy State University in 2022 is more than 1,100, of which more than 800 received their education on a full-time basis and almost 300 studied remotely.

By the way, from the new academic year of 2022, Sumy State University will start training Masters in the specialty 227 "Physical therapy, occupational therapy" in the field of knowledge 22 "Health care". The condition for admission to study is the presence of a Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in any specialty, not necessarily in the field of knowledge "Health care".
