On 15 June 2023, the SumDU delegation (headed by rector Vasyl KARPUSHA) visited the Jiamusi University for negotiations.

The discussion concerned the research and education partnership in medicine, economy, business, engineering, material science, environment protection, etc. Also, the parties talked about future SumDU study of 100 Chinese students for the Master and PhD degrees.

Currently, five members of the Jiamusi University are studying at the SumDU Academic and Research Institute of Business, Economics and Management to get their PhD degrees.
