The SumDU team of the project “AICE – With Academic Integrity to EU Values: Step by Step to Common Europe” presented their course “Academic Integrity in European Education and Research: A Multidimensional Immersive Model”.

There were over 2200 registered course participants. Since the first meeting, the students had been interested in promoting the academic integrity principles.

The course will last for 8 weeks. Within this time, the following issues will be discussed:

  • Who is a modern honest student?
  • What tools does a student have to promote academic integrity?
  • How can we feel and form the institutional culture of academic integrity?
  • How can we prevent academic integrity violations?
  • What can a student do to raise education quality at the university?
  • How can we increase academic integrity in other institutions? Is it relevant and how can we achieve it?
  • Academic integrity vs international activity: how can we get famous abroad?
  • Academic integrity vs open science: how can a student benefit from “openness”?
  • Immersive study: let us “immerse” in the process.
  • How can we create an academic integrity space at the university?

You can watch course records on the Academic Integrity Сhannel.

Notes: The course “Academic Integrity in European Education and Research: A Multidimensional Immersive Model” demonstrates results of the project “AICE – With Academic Integrity to EU Values: Step by Step to Common Europe” (ERASMUS-JMO-2021-HEI-TCH-RSCH-101048055). It is funded by the EU Executive Agency for Education, Audial-Visual Means and Culture within the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet program.

The AICE project is dedicated to integration of the EU academic integrity experience into Ukrainian higher education. Besides, roles of students, lecturers and university administration are defined for promoting academic integrity.
