The Ukrainian Ministry of Education and Science announced results of the young research contest in 2023.

Four SumDU projects have been selected for state funding:

  • “Modeling Educational Transformations in Wartime to Keep the Intellectual Capital and Innovation Potential of Ukraine” (Alina BUKHTIIAROVA as supervisor – Academic and Research Institute of Business, Economics and Management);
  • “Post-War Power Recovery of Ukraine: Optimal Waste Recycling to Secure Public Health, Economy, Investments and Taxation” (Anna ROSOKHATA as supervisor – Academic and Research Institute of Business, Economics and Management);
  • “Developing Methods to Diagnose and Predict Tumors via Cellular Adhesion of Carcinoembryonic Antigen and Cyclooxygenases” (Vladyslav SIKORA as supervisor – Medical Institute);
  • “Developing the Robotized Platform to Control Firearms” (Illia DEHTIAROV as supervisor – Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies).

Generally, 45 projects of 27 Ukrainian institutions will be funded.

By winning projects, Sumy State University and Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute are leaders.
