SumDU leads the top three Ukrainian universities in the Webometrics ranking

According to Ranking Web of Universities (Webometrics), Sumy State University improved its reputation. It rose by over 100 positions. Among the best world universities, SumDU took the 1350th place. Besides, it follows two best Ukrainian institutions: Ihor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University.

The highest SumDU assessment is Transparancy: citation sum of the best researchers. Also, we see another obvious progress: Impact (outer citations for SumDU publications) and Excellence (amount of the top 10% cited articles in the Scimago base).

The Webometrics ranking updates semi-annually. It indexes over 31,000 institutions globally. The latest version lists 306 Ukrainian institutions.
