Follow-up Cooperation Training for Ukraine on Issue-Specific Training “Industrial Technology Education” (an international grant project) had been finished. It was funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency and ESD Consortium in Aichi.

Within the project, 9 SumDU researchers (the Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies) and a Sumy Specialized School 9 teacher completed an intensive Japanese course. It would upgrade the Ukrainian wartime education.

Both engineering achievements and human mental health were considered in the course. Besides, experts discussed the quality staff potential, sustainable development, facility reconstruction, etc. SumDU members could examine curriculum upgrades as well.

The obtained knowledge was useful to prepare two conceptions of Ukrainian engineering challenges. They deal with plans of wartime engineering education changes (from youth involvement to business cooperation).
