SumDU volunteers conducted two ecological actions

On 12 April 2023, SumDU volunteers cleaned areas behind dormitories near the Chekh Lake. Volunteers removed a local dump. 12 waste bags were removed.

Next day, the students participated in the all-city action “Cleaning is Victory as well”. Supported by the Sumy City Council, the volunteers cleaned areas at the Sumka River. About 80 trash bags were collected.

“We wish all residents cleaned their environment. Our city should be an example of order and tidiness. Each spring and autumn, we make efforts to keep the dirtiest places clean! The Earth is our home. Therefore, take care of it!” – said Anastasia Chuprun (SumDU volunteering leader).

The guys are going to clean new areas. They will also participate in other spring cleanings.
