Tetyana MAYBORODA, Deputy Head of the International Affairs Department, Associate Professor of the O. Balatsky Department of Management of Sumy State University, took part in a training on internationalisation of education that took place from 11 to 17 March at Leibniz University of Hannover (Germany).

The week-long workshop was organised as part of the annual programme "Management of Internationalisation: German-Ukrainian Academic Cooperation 2024", funded by DAAD German Academic Exchange Services and coordinated by Leibniz University of Hannover. The programme lasts for a year and aims to support the internationalisation of Ukrainian universities through education, consultations and training of Ukrainian universities’ representatives, as well as the development and implementation of individual projects for the internationalisation of education at their universities.

Therefore, an intensive series of presentations, workshops, and consultations with representatives of the international office of the German university, faculties, the research and innovation centre, and experts in internationalisation of education took place during the week. 15 participants from Ukraine presented draft versions of their projects which was aligned with lively discussion, suggestions, advice and productive feedback from both German experts and Ukrainian colleagues. 

The final stage of the program will take place in September-October 2024 at T. Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where participants will present final projects and their implementation in Ukrainian educational institutions.
